But the Arsenal protector, that just returned from an anterior cruciate tendon (ACL) injury in January, remains a key component of Wiegman’s side as they prepare to protect their European title in Switzerland next summer.
Previous Arsenal team-mate Jen Beattie said the mistakes have been “from personality” for Williamson, and it is “failed to remember” how amazing she is for England.
“All of us know the worldie passes she can do. Everybody gives the sphere away, that is component of football. You never ever know what has led to those minutes,” Beattie informed BBC Radio 5 Live’s Women’s Football Regular podcast.
“It is from personality. You can’t top 24/7. Mistakes belong to football. Perhaps the objection is a little bit too severe.
“We concentrated on mistakes perhaps too a lot recently and forgot how amazing she is for this England side. I hope she comes away keeping that amazing memory [of scoring].”
