Part of today’s Closing Ceremony will showcase “Records,” a show organized by 2024 artistic director Thomas Jolly. The moment will take place in the Stade de France, which was transformed into a gigantic concert hall. There will be hundreds of performers, including acrobats, dancers, and circus artists.
The official Olympics web teased that the “Records” will “celebrate the end of a fortnight of competitions and festivities for the Olympic leg of the Paris 2024 Game.” Part of the show will also take place in the air, “while the giant sets, costumes and spectacular lighting efeks will take spectators on a journey through time, both past and future.”

The United States women’s basketball tim is now just one win away from an eighth straight gold medal. Tim USA will take on France in a repeat of the men’s gold medal match on Sunday afternoon in Paris in one of the final moments of the Game. If the Americans can pull off the win, it will mark their 61st straight Olympics win and break a tie with the U.S. men’s program that won seven straight gold medals from 1936-68.
